Refund & Cancellation Policy
One position across every app we publish: cancelling is immediate and costs nothing, and payments already taken are not refunded.
Last updated
This policy applies to premium subscriptions in every Android app published by HSR Utility Apps Private Limited, trading as HSR Utility. Both apps also publish it under their own address, naming the app and its package — those are the copies to cite in a store listing or a support ticket: Pakiza · Arul .
1. How Billing Works
Browsing and previewing stay free in every app. Premium unlocks applying and sharing wallpapers and setting ringtones, at ₹199 per month, renewing until cancelled.
UPI Autopay, not the Google Play Store
A subscription is a UPI Autopay mandate approved in your own UPI app and processed by PhonePe — not a Play in-app purchase. It has no Play Store subscription entry and no Play refund route. Cancel inside the app.
The ₹2 verification is not a charge
Setting up a mandate takes a ₹2 debit that your bank reverses automatically. It authorises the mandate and is not the price of anything. If the reversal has not landed after a few working days, email us and we will chase it.
2. Cancelling
Settings → your plan → Cancel. It takes effect at once and needs no reason. A mandate can also be paused or revoked from the UPI app you approved it in.
Cancelling stops future charges and leaves premium running to the end of the period already paid for. Deleting an account is different: it also ends access immediately, forfeiting the rest.
3. No Refunds
Payments already taken are final and non-refundable, and cancelling does not refund them. No refund is given for:
- A change of mind after subscribing.
- The unused part of a billing period already paid for.
- Cancelling partway through a period, which is never pro-rated.
- Forgetting to cancel before a renewal date.
- Not using the app, or not using the premium features it unlocked.
- Finding another app you prefer.
- Content already applied, set or downloaded.
- An account suspended or terminated for breaking our terms.
- Deleting an account, which ends premium access immediately and forfeits the rest of the period.
Subscribing acknowledges this. Browsing and previewing are free, and the trial is free once per person, precisely so the app can be judged before any money moves.
Nothing in this policy removes a right you hold under Indian consumer law that cannot be given up by agreement.
4. Charges Taken in Error
A charge that should never have been taken is not a refund request and is not treated as one. Billed twice for one period, billed after a cancellation, or billed an amount that does not match the paywall — write to support@hsrutility.com with your registered email, the date and the amount, and we will investigate and correct anything that proves to be our error.
5. Before You Raise a Dispute
Please come to us before raising a chargeback with your bank or UPI provider. A dispute runs for weeks and usually suspends the subscription while it does; an email usually gets an answer the same day. Disputes under this policy are governed by the laws of India and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy for legal, operational or regulatory reasons. The "Last updated" date moves when we do, and no change ever applies retroactively to a payment already taken.
